At Basant Advisors, founded by Sakshi Gaurav Jalan, we are committed to providing transparent, compliant, and fair practices in all our dealings. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which clients may be eligible for a refund of fees paid for our Investment Advisory and Research Analyst services, in alignment with SEBI regulations.
1. Applicability
This policy applies to all individual clients availing:

SEBI-compliant Investment Advisory services

Research-based stock market analysis and recommendations
-
Option trading education and strategy coaching
-
Access to tools like 'SANMATI' or other model portfolio features
This policy is applicable to retail (non-accredited) clients. Institutional or accredited clients will be governed by separate contractual terms.
2. Fee Collection Principles

For Investment Advisory services, fees may be charged in advance but not exceeding fees for one year, as per SEBI’s guidelines. Fees are charged only after signing the advisory agreement.

For Research Analyst services, fees may be charged as one-time or periodic subscription, depending on the offering.

In all cases, invoices and records are provided for transparency.
3. Refund Eligibility
A. Investment Advisory Services
If a client terminates the service agreement before the completion of the term:

A pro-rata refund will be processed for the unexpired period.

A breakage fee of up to 25% of the balance amount may be deducted (per SEBI IA Circular No. SEBI/HO/MIRSD/MIRSD-PoD/P/CIR/2025/48 dated April 2, 2025).
If Basant Advisors terminates the agreement due to compliance or service scope reasons, a full proportional refund will be provided without deduction, unless due to client breach.
B. Research Analyst Services
Research content (reports, strategies, recommendations) is intellectual in nature and once delivered is considered consumed. Refunds are not generally permitted unless:

There is a technical error in access to services

A duplicate payment has occurred

An accidental subscription is reported within 48 hours
No refund is provided for partially consumed or expired research subscriptions.
4. Refund Process
To request a refund, email us at basant.advisors@gmail.com with:

Your full name and contact details

Type of service and payment date

Reason for requesting a refund

Transaction reference or receipt
Once verified, eligible refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment within 15 business days.
5. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be entertained in the following cases:

Services already fully rendered

Failure to complete KYC or onboarding formalities

Breach of agreement or non-compliance by the client

Promotional or discounted offers marked as “Non-Refundable”

Requests made 30 days after service termination or purchase
6. Exceptions and Discretion
We may consider discretionary refunds in rare cases like:

Medical incapacity (with documentation)

Technical service failure from our side

Regulatory changes impacting product availability
Such refunds are at the sole discretion of Basant Advisors.
